The Heritage Since 1993, 95 Roscoe Street has been a sanctuary. Originally built as Norman Andrews House, it served for decades as a refuge for Bondi’s most vulnerable. Today, as a site managed by the Wayside Chapel, it continues to be a landmark of resilience, housing multiple social enterprises and vital community programs.
The Symbology
The Phoenix is the ultimate archetype of resurrection. It doesn't ignore its past; it uses the "fire" of life's challenges to forge a more resilient future.
We chose this name because we believe in the "comeback" - for individuals, for the entrepreneurs and business class, and for our community.
